Seems like its the size of the image. i took a pic and at 2mb i then edited the image size and made it 175kb i then uploaded both images and the 2mb gave the error..

its the size of the image... 1mb seems to give the yellow exclamation mark... but kb upload and shows with no problem...
I also did a new installation and same thing...

have you try with small image size?since the callback after submit the photo is weird, the browser refreshes. I am not sure it can be fixed

can you check the size of the image on ur io device.
anything under 1mb seems good. maybe its a timeout issue?

Yes, it make senses, I think this is image size issue after take the pic from camera / gallery.. like I said before this issue caused by device issue not Jomsocial issue, we cant work too much with this matter.. so anyway we need to close this topic.
