I recently upgraded from 1.5 to 2.5. When i upload videos they're pending for days. One video finally stopped pending and showed up in the videos section but when i try to play it i get the following error message.

200, Stream not found, NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound, clip: '[Clip] ' discreetadults.com/components/com_commun...Z3ZwTGZqd0IyQncubXA0 ''

I've had my hosting company double check the ffmpeg and cron job and they said they're both working fine. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this as well as the extended pending time?

Hi, raymond.

Check if it's solved. Pseudo Streaming in JomSocial configuration should be set to "NO".
Pleas confirm if it works for you.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

The audio is working fine but the video isn't showing

Hi, raymond.

I uploaded a video and it can be played:
discreetadults.com/videos/839-jomsocial/video/8-test

Also I tried to upload your mp4 file to my installation. And I was unable to see video... only sound.
So probably is something wrong with this file?

Could you try to upload it on YouTube and check the result?
Also could you try with other file?

Hey Michal,

Sorry for the late response. For some reason i kept getting a 500 internal error every time i tried to read this post.

I saw the video you uploaded by using the link you provided but for some reason that video is not listed in the videos section of my site. I don't know how or why that is possible.

I uploaded the test vid from my site on to youtube at youtu.be/lW7vy_RIRJo and it worked fine, it showed the video and audio. I also uploaded a .mov file to my site and its stuck as pending. I uploaded the .mov file to youtube at youtu.be/csGyo91uDJo and it works fine.

Hi, raymond.

It seems that videos are not processed.
Please make sure that your ffmpeg path is correct, then check if ffmpeg library is working, check if you set a cron job and if it works.

The ffmpeg is correct and working properly, as well as the FLVTool2 Path. I'm not sure where the cron job entry is supposed to go though.

Ok, i found out that it was a permissions issue..that's fixed. The problem now is that the videos are uploading and converting fine but only the audio is plays. For some reason the Flowplayer screen is blank.

ok.
I was told that its encode to H263 – Mpeg 4 part 2 and that i need to encode to MPEG-4 part 10 (H264). I just checked and confirmed that my ffmpeg does have h264 support so how do i configure the CMS to encode to the correct format?

Thanks
-Ray
