Hello,

ISSUE SUMMARY:
I am using the module Hello Me fro my website. I have attached the screenshot for the settings of Hello Me module.
I don't want the alerts (notification of friend invites etc.) in the module. For this I disabled the alerts but still it's not showing up. It's not even working for Disable menu. Then I tried editing below file from the server.
/public_html/beta_site/modules/mod_hellome/tmpl/default.php

I removed the whole div part but still no changes.

Kindly suggest what should be done to remove those alerts and edit the layout of the module.

Regards,
Dharti Gohil

Hi, Kailasa.

Where I could see your site?
Please, check if you have enabled Joomla! caching - disable it and clear Joomla! cache.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hello Michal,

Caching is disabled.
My website is:
waggster.com/beta_site

You can login here and check the Hello Me module on the home page.

Hi, Kailasa.

You hold a JomSocial PRO license so only ONE domain is supported.
Your supported domain is: http://192.168.1.72/pet_web/
And you request support for: waggster.com. I'm sorry but as it is different domain, support will be not provided for it at the moment.
Unless you change supported domain (need to have valid reason e.g domain name typo)
Please post a domain change request here: www.jomsocial.com/forum/billing-issues

After your request is accepted, please, update this thread and make sure it has "Pending Support" status.

Hello Michal,

This is the only domain which we are using. We are not using .com for now because the site isn't live. Once we are done developing the site we will be migrating to pure .com and not beta_site. Request you to provide suggestion what should be done for this.

I just need to hide those 3 notifications.

Hi, Kailasa.

You should request supported domain change for waggster.com.
waggster.com/beta_site is your dev site and should thus be declared in credential box when you open new thread: prntscr.com/8axrnx

Hi, Kailasa.

No, you misunderstood. I've said:

Please post a domain change request here: www.jomsocial.com/forum/billing-issues

Open thread in Billing Issues forum category and ask for supported domain change.

Hello Michal,

I haven't changed the domain. In the billing issues section I see that people have changed their domain.
I have purchased Jomsocial for waggster.com and I am using it in waggster.com/beta_site because I don't want my website to go live until I completely develop it. I have not changed my domain to xyz.com
In my case I am using the same thing but there's just a subfolder in it. Maybe I am still not clear.
I am not getting the concept of supported domain like 192.168.1.72/pet_web/
I am using the same thing as before. Till now I was accessing forum support then what has happened now. Kindly explain me in detail.

Dharti Gohil

Hi, Kailasa.

Please, read again my post here and take look at printscreen: www.jomsocial.com/forum/modules-plugins-...8924-hello-me#140850

You provided as supported domain: 192.168.1.72/pet_web/ - not us.
If you purchased JS for certain domain you should enter correct value in supported domain field.
All I ask you here is to officialy post a domain change request so I could change wrong domain into correct: waggster.com, then we could proceed further with your issue.

It just can't be that you have one value as supprted domain but ask for support on different domain... even if that domain is correct from your point of view. if it's correct - we have to know about it and enter correct domain as supported one.

Hi, Kailasa.

Domain is changed, now edit your first post here and provide working SU credentials.
Question: you work on live server or localhost?
