i want to understand how the Karma work, when a person get 1 star and how he can get the second and so.
how it calculated?
i see the movie at tricks and fips, i want to understand the way that it calculate.

Hi Amit,

Karma is a user points system used in JomSocial. It shows how active a user is in JomSocial. Karma will only be activated when a user has uploaded a photo in the user's profile. Otherwise, the user will never achieve any Karma points.

karma automated recalculate if you did upload photo(s) :)

Yes, but how it works? When a user get 2 drops or 5 drops.
Is thst can be configure?
is it according to the user point?
How many points you need to get till you get ome more drop?
Can i change the way it calculate?

i didn't got the point of your questions.. what drops do you talking about ? the karma image on user profile ?
karma can be configure, go to jomsocial backend -> profiles -> karma
you can set how many karma points to get 1 drop (like you explained), or 2 drops..

you can change the way to calculate but this is to risky because you must hack core of jomsocial and we wouldn't suggest that for you... :)

So the drops (karma image) is the same as the user point. It is just a different way to show the points.

User points never displayed on jomsocial page.. user points is hidden..

I read it.
The top member modul. Is according to the user point system at jomsocial. And it is the same points that the user karma geting is rank (1 droo 2 drops 3 drops and so)

which on top members module do you mean? can you attach screenshoot here ? i really don't understand about your question..
User points never displayed on jomsocial page.. only admin can check how much a user had user points from backend.. The drop image do you mean is to displayed karma points, not user points..

User points and karma image is a different things..

AS DEFAULT top members never show user points, you can try to look at my attachment.. except you change the top members settings, it shown on points system, not images..

i already consult to our developers and our product manager.. i apologize to you because i was wrong.. since 3.2 our developers has changed the karma system.. now karma = user points..

our product manager said this thing : enabling/disabling user points not only controls what is written on the stream but also adds to your Karma for doing the action. if you have all the userpoints options disabled then karma wont change. I hope that makes sense. karma is dependant on user points so its sort of the same thing..
