Advance search results not consistant

Hi,
Joomla : v3.2.3
JomSocial:v3.2.0.3
Socialize:v1.2.7
Login as user dan29200 with pass as described for JSupport. There is a user called julien (male/ 45 years old/ single)
Select "Amis"/ "Recherche Avancée". Add first criteria Age 40-50. Second criteria single ("Célibataire")
Result is julien, good. see attached file.
Add a third criteria sexe=male("Homme"). Julien is not found. see attached file.
If we set only 2 criterias, first one for the age and the second one for sex=Homme/Male, we still didn't find julien.
Same thing if we set only one citeria base on sex="Homme/Male" still didn't find julien.
The criteria based on sex works only for Femme/Female

Thank you. I know the source of that issue and how to solve it.
But before I apply patch I need to talk with product owner.
So I'll fix this tomorrow...

Hi.

I talked with PO and raised a bug ticket for your isuess.
I fixed it on your page, but those are core hack... so they will be lost upon JomSocial upgrade.
So I left copies of customized files here:

ROOT/modules/mod_datingsearch/helper.php-customized
ROOT/components/com_community/libraries/fields/gender.php-customized

Just rename it after upgrade by removing -customized.

Please check if this work for you.

Michal,
better but there is still a problem, hereafter how to reproduce it:
login as user julien, click on "Amis" then on the right side "Je recherche..." select "Homme" and Age between 40 and 60
Result is in the attached file, we have in the sex field COM_COMMUNITY_MALE instead of "Homme" with "Âge" just before.
If we do again the same search through same menu "Je recherche..." by adding the country set to France, we should get the same result as before. We didn't get anybody, see the second attached file also something wrong with field country COM_COMMUNITY_LANG_NAME_FRANCE with "Âge" just before, instead of France

Oh, this time there will be no easy fix for this. This comes from module. It imports in input fields values from database and they are threated just like ordinary text so system doesn't translate them.

I rise it as a bug and report to our developers.

This is rather complex issue and need complex approach.
I already talked with PO.
With my fix advanced search works fine... module that you use messed things up...
As this will be huge bug fix it could take some time.

Hi,
it means, for the time being, we have to postpone the dating search module til having a fix.
And if we understand what you are saying, it seems a long walk getting a fix for that.
Not a good news for our business neither for our customers.

Hi there.

This issue was fixed in our latest JomSocial 3.2.0.4. So please upgrade your JomSocial to this version to solve this problem. If our patch will not fix your problem, then please let us know and we'll look into it once again.

Hi,
we've upraded to v3.2.0.4.
No change. Easy to reproduce:
Login as user's julien then click "Amis/ right side Je recherche..." select sex to "Homme" then click "Recherche".
Results in the attached file, all members male AND female, same if we add Age (40-60), all members are displayed.
In relation with issue:

I don't know about your others customers, but our business needs to have a reliable Dating search & Advance search modules . It's becoming critical.
