HI, Shane.

Please, don't report more than ONE issue per thread.

1. Facebook issue - I was able to replicate it on your site... it's probably related with registration issue.
2. Registration issue - you enabled Captcha in Joomla... but it should be in JomSocial... i moved keys to JomSocial... but it seems that key are wrong: prntscr.com/8jvgk7 Also you have enabled on your site some kind of caching... so after any change in configuration you'll need to clear browser cache.
3. JS statistics issue - this is not an issue at all. You don't use JS Gender field but custom radio fields. Statistics will be not created for custom field.

Please, disable caching on your site and pagespeed.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm guessing that somewhere along the way with the update the catchpa key got overwritten somehow, so I now have the catchpa working, but alas I am still experiencing the

Error

and

errors.
I also checked and removed Jotcache so there should be no caching on the site at all now.
I am totally mystified as to why it suddenly stopped working after the upgrade to Joomla 3.4.4 and Jomsocial 4.1
<<Update>>
What is even stranger is I copied the DB over to a test site and all i changed was the recatchpa keys and I was able to login without any issues ??????

Thanks - I have tried many things like replicating the site in full on the same server but in a test environment, uninstalling Jomsocial and reinstalling, changed the template and deactivated plugins but still no joy.

As previously stated everything was working fine prior to the update of the site to Joomla 3.4.4 and installation of Jomsocial 4.1 and I did not make it clear in my previous reply that test site that I transferred the DB to was on the same server with all settings exactly the same as the live site, so it cannot be a server issue.

Also another question raised by your reply is that if I understand you correctly I cannot have a catchpa on Joomla core features such as contacts and a catchpa on Jomsocial registration? I am certain again that the site was functioning properly prior to the 4.1 update with the catchpa activated on Joomla.

Will that not affect users already registered?
Main reason I used a custom field is in 21st Century, and in the interests of gender equality, the options of just male and female are not sufficient as a fair amount of people do not identify with either of those options.

Can I suggest the developers look at modifying the Gender field in the next update to include a field "transgender" or "unspecified" or something like that in the interests of Gender Equality?

Ah OK - I am guessing that you mean to include the field Gender as possibly hidden so as the stats will work?
I'm also supposing that someone with a fair bit of coding knowledge would be able to "hack" the core or language file to add an extra option into the gender field?

What I would like is a simple idea really - in the interests of political correctness I would like to have an additional field in Gender, not just:-
COM_COMMUNITY_MALE
COM_COMMUNITY_FEMALE
The additional field would be UNSPECIFIED or TRANSGENDER
... It would also be a plus if the 3rd field could be optional - for those who don't wish to have another option other than Male or Female.

But I can see another use for the 3rd field in gender, for those sites that offer a Couples or Family membership, (our not for profit organization has a family membership plan - but this is not easily translated to the web site with the gender restriction) so really the optimum solution would be to make the Gender field configurable by the site owner at installation, the same goes for any modules that reference gender, these could be made with select-able fields, so the site owner can show what fields in gender they wanted.

As I said simple idea but I think without having delved into the coding, it would require quite a few changes in both the profile areas and any modules that reference "Gender" so it would most likely be a job for a future build.

we discussed the multiple gender months ago, and we decided to use only male and female on field gender.. but well, you still can use the multiple by using field type select or radio..

but regrading the stats module, it doesn't work for multiple gender (except male and female)

That brings us back to my original issue with the module, even if I turn off the display of gender fields in the module, unless I have the gender field somewhere in the profile, I cannot save the module - you need to specify the Gender field in order to publish the module

What I had to do was create a gender field (the standard Male Female), then hide that so as I could publish the module without showing Gender Stats, which to me does not make sense if I choose not to show gender stats - why should I need to select the Gender field?

To me it is an unnecessary step in the setup.

Anyway - the more important issue is my broken registration

Hi Shane,

That is default bahavior, so please if you wanna do hide the gender you set "Show total males" ,"Show total females" and "Show total unspecified" to No.

Regarding registration, it should be fine now.. please you check again..
