Problem upgrading to 4.1

I am trying to upgrade to latest version 4.1.0 from 4.0.9

After the first upgrade seem to complete successfully it still showed that I was using 4.0.9. I refreshed the page - same problem.

I tried to upgrade again and now when I have the "Done" button and click - I come back to the first Welcome page for the upgrade installer with the "Next" button.

I run in loop, I can't get out of it now...

Hope you can help,

Kenneth

Hi, Kenneth.

Did you upgraded via iJoomla Installer or Joomla! installer.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

I'm not sure to be honest, I went into Jomsocial and chose the install new version from the notification top right corner.

Hi, Kenneth.

Use Joomla! Installer and install JS 4.1 just like any other extension on top of existing JomSocial installation.

Same issue. I install using normal Joomla install of extensions and it starts up the installation fine, runs through the various screens and end up with "Done"

I click done and I'm back at the first step in the install script the welcome screen.

I went into the manager to check versions of JS. It's says there that the Community component is version 4.1

However all modules and plugins are still 4.0.9 even though first install/upgrade I did showed list of modules and plug-ins that would be upgraded. None has apparently been upgraded.

Tried re-installing on top of the exciting a few times now and still get caught in the loop and can't get out.

Can I uninstall JS and do a new install with out loosing current data in JS?

I uninstalled JS and installed fresh and end up in the same loop as before...in the installer or if I try to access

/administrator/index.php?option=com_community

I end up in the welcome screen for the upgrade installer

The plugins and modules are now version 4.1 as well as JS component.

Really don't know why this happens and how to solve it...
