This is awesome. Thank you very much Dimas. One last question before I close this. How do I add a menu item to the user profile? Do I link directly to the joomsocial toolbar? Would that keep the navigation correctly?

You can add it from Joomla menu manager->Jomsocial toolbar, and please make sure you use the correct jomsocial page not by using the alias method, because the result will be different then..
