Tried to upload socialize 1.2.7. lost `home, email,notification, friend request and logout icon in top head here and here. Please help.
I have included the Socialize (100015843), if you can install for me.

2. Please also install the latest Jomsocial version (Not the beta because its prob not stable). thank you.
3. is there anyway to connect to menu listed under the profile coverpage (AboutMe, Group, Friends, Events...)
4. I have fixed the lost icon on PC but the icons dont show on smart mobile and tablets.

I did provide development site access info. Same username and password as provided for support site. Substitute myscouttube for "test123" for the URL. The front end website is www.myscouttube.com .

I can see and from your site and previous posts there are a lot of modifications in your template, I would recommend you get the person who made the changes to upgrade it to the latest available which is 1.2.8. This version includes real time notifications in the toolbar. you can download the latest version of the product from the my downloads section in your account.

if our support staff do the upgrade for you the template and toolbar with then be a default install that would need any modifications re applied by you, re applying modifications you have made is outside the scope of our support

I hv not made any mod to template other than color tht I know of. But I am not experience and a designer I was using may hv made changes tht I am not aware of. Wht changes hv u seen. Is there a specific procedure to update template.

I have done an update on template through the Extension manager but the template does not seem/is not updated. When I goto template manager and to Socialize, it still shows Socialize Template at 1.2.5!!! Why?

As I am seeing the template upgrade is not taking place properly and I would like to upgrade with the latest version 1.2.8
but I can see some customization has been made. Before upgrade taking place I like to have old template backup and
thus need ftp access.

Can tell me also how to mod the files such tht
1. the cover pages can be a video area.
2. AboutMe page open as a default when accessing the profile page. I hv called it MyPage on my website.
3. How to make info under AboutMe show in column form or some other method such that there isn't all that blank area beside info listed under AboutMe. Maybe even add something to fill area( picture or icon)?
4. How to add background image to gv site a sports feel and experience.
5. Change text and font for jomsocial.
6. Shows coverpages above myvideo, MyEvents, MyGroups, MyFriends..... Same manner in which it shows above AboutMe. This would help to identify to other members who's profile they r looking at.

I have taken a backup the old socialize template as socialize-old then uninstall the socialize template and again install latest version 1.2.8
now it is showing the template version correctly.

Please replace all changes as you made from socialize-old to socialize to get your customized style.

Now about the customization request of others as it demand a dedicated developer

I still do not see the notification icon (email, friend request, home, global notification) in the top header when on Smart Phone or tablet device.
Although the template was updated, there are way too many things in which I had to redo. You need to have an ability to save your configuration setup such that when a template update is done the config file can be reloaded. If my site was launched and public this would have been an shock and embarrassment when my users see all the errors from loading a new template.

If there is such a procedure in place, please accept my apologies and direct me to how to do this for next time. thank you.

BTW, about the customization of template so that template upgrade would not affect
1. Add a css file named "custom.css" at root/templates/socialize/css
2. Once you created the css file then you can override any styling here
and for sure this will preserved with any further socialize template upgrade.
