I have jomsocial here but its behaving strange. When I go to next step, it asks me to select profile. After that, it goes out of template and show me same page again ?

Why is it so ?

Hi Parth,

Can you update your jomsocial into 3.1.1 or 3.2 RC3 ? your jomsocial was too old and we don't support old jomsocial :)
DON'T FORGET TO DO A BACKUP BEFORE UPGRADE (ENTIRE SITE + DATABASE) because your custom code will be override with jomsocial installer :)

Hope your problem fix after update your jomsocial version :)

I set up latest copy of my site where issue is and upgraded jomsocial there to latest but its not taking effect. It still shows
same issue. Why is that ?

can i get the link of your development site (with jomsocial latest version) ? i opened the link that you gave me but i saw your jomsocial version still Version: 3.0.2..

maybe you can tell me since when this problem happen ? i guess this issue because conflict with other components or template.. i also saw all your menu item disable.. can you make your site ready to test.. i also try do make jomsocial as default page but i can't..

Please enable all jomsocial menu, set access into public and make jomsocial frontpage as default menu item.. so i an test it without change or edit your backend settings

Yes, I am doing it, will update when done.

I get this error and it shows white page.

One more thing, it asks me to choose profile type. If there is only profile then why its not selected as default ?

Here is the link for dev site - nidhi.tekdi.net/setest/ You can use same admin login details. Its having same issue here. But user
is registered and when I enable it, its logged in ! I checked all menus and template, did not find anything there.

Can you please check ? I need to get rid of this.

Can you give me FTP Access into your development site ? i need to check your file.. By the way, if you have only 1 profile why must use multiple profiles ? :) multiple profiles used for who wants to create more than 1 type of user and it must be choose by user, we can't make it as default choosen..

I can't tell you excatly what happen on your site because i can't inspect it.. maybe this is because extensions conflict or javascript conflict.. if you want to try, you can disabled all extensions except jomsocial extensions, and see how it goes.. or you can make fresh installation again and try to add extensions 1 by 1..
