I would love if you guys could put the options menu tab back in the JS Events module. My desire would be if I could create an event, then make it a featured item, then use the JS Events module to only display featured events. If you guys can't get the menu options menu item back, then i'm looking for a really good hack that does the exact same thing. I'd love if the user can still create an event, choose appropriate category, but I can also add their event to featured and have it listed in featured events module.

we will re-code all modules in version 4.1, and we will tweak them. The filter featured only maybe will be there..

I'll be looking forward to it, but if I were you guys, i'd definitely remove this from your documentation ( documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Latest_Events ) or at least put a clause in there that says this menu stopped being available after a certain version. Because I'll be honest with you... that 'Option' menu is what sold me. Imagine how disappointed I was when the option was not there. I'm not even mad anymore... I'm just very sad :-(
