Hi, Rolf.

1. Hmm... code loads everything that is sored in db under certain conditions... I'll need to implement a current date check and load only that has start date from present to future... I'll need to think about it.

2. Done, code is updated (on your site too). Now module displays most recent Events on top.

- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Rolf.

1. Done! But note that module now will show ONLY future Events. This means that if Events start then will be not displayed in module.
Also if Event is ONGOING will be NOT displayed.

Hi Mike!!

Really cool!!! :-)

One last question... Wouldn't it make sense that the events are ordered same as the original event module? There events are ordered by eventdate. That means the next upcoming event ist the first in the module and then the rest of teh events are in chronological order.

This would be very helpfull for our users... ;-)

I think this is a small mod for Triple-M ;-)

Hi Mike

Please can you change the order of the events to the eventdate ascending and not sorted by the recent events?

This would be great!!!

Thanxs anyway for your great work!

Hi Mike

Hope you're fine ;-)

Please can you take a look at this again? I cannot use your modificaction until yet, because of the wrong sort order.

I think this is not a big thing for a pro like you to change the order ;-)

Hi, Rolf.

I can't login to your site backend nor save modified files on server.

So if events should be sorted by startdate ascending then just change this (line 22):

$query->order($db->quoteName('startdate') . ' DESC');

Change DESC to ASC :)

Hi Mike

Since the Update to 3.2.1.5 you hack to the modules/mod_community_events no longer works. Or do i something wrong?

Please can you take a look for that?

Hi, Rolf.

You probably forgot to save customized files for Events module, than enables alternative layout feature.
But don't worry, in this thread i uploaded customized files:
