Why should I register my domain?

My confusion is because of "Enter all the domain names you'd like to install this product on, separated by comma:" Given it is GPL and requirement of display on JED needs to enable user install freely I asked myself then why should I enter those domains! Now we are safe to say I do not need to enter those domains, if I have any!

@sinisa how do you leave line break in your posts? For me either of Enter or Ctrl+Enter acts as submitting

If I understand correctly, the JS is under GPL?
Then why should I register the domains that I may want to install JS on as "Enter all the domain names you'd like to install this product on, separated by comma:"
BTW, I have not added the domain that I am using JS and my licence is expiring, what are the reasons I should add that domain?
p.s I really never asked for support, just purchased it to pay my fare share toward the development.
