Apptha Events 1.0 is a single step solution for all the needs of event organizers and event goers. If you are a busy bee attending a list of events (of any kind) this Joomla extension will serve as the perfect tool to plan and schedule all your events.
For an event organizer, this plug-in will provide a plethora of options to manage A to Z requirements of organizing an event, like inviting guests, issuing tickets, receiving payments, managing time schedules, providing information of location etc.
This scheduling product developed Apptha which is compatible with Joomla 1.6, 1.7 and 2.5 versions has been designed in such a way that it benefits both the event organizers and visitors.

Admin dashboard:
This panel helps event organizers to keep in track of ongoing and upcoming events, revenues earned, payments made, new subscriptions and success rate of an event which will give them a clear idea of how effective their event promotion campaigning was.
Ticket handling:
Using this plug-in, organizers can control overbooking of tickets (if in case too many tickets are reserved by a single person), design ticket layout, add multiple tickets, add contact details for events and thus solve complex administrative issues regarding ticketing.
Front end (for users):
The front-end features a clear calendar view of events which when clicked sails to the events page where the details of the events including the name, venue, contact person etc will be displayed.
Join events and invite friends
Users will have options to join events and invite friends on the Event details page. Users can join the event by simply clicking the join button and can invite friends to the events they are taking part by sending invites through Facebook, Gmail or to their Email addresses.
Reach your target audience:
This joomla extension provides options for admin to focus on their target audience. News channels, daily newspapers can also be invited to grab media attention which will help in publicizing the event to a wider section of people.
Import and export .csv files:
Admin can directly import .csv file from facebook and Gmail. Apptha Eventz also provides export options for ical (apple calendar application) and csv files.

The verison provided for J! 3.0.* users no longer supports or is compatible with Jomsocial.Shame.

Useful software for event management
This event management software is very useful for me.with the help of location page, we can easily find out the destination venue.It's very user friendly,am happy with this product.thanks
