This extensions set is composed of a Joomla 3 component, a Joomla module and a Jomsocial plugin.
The Joomla component has 3 main purposes:
It provides global settings for the application
Backend manager for Map objects
Frontend Provides Ajax results to module requests
The module is used to display the map.
The plugin is used to let users click a map to set their location and display it with their friend's and attending events on their own profile.
An additional admin Geocoder module is provided:
- Media Geocoder required for Jomsocial videos and Photo Albums coordinates.

- Ajax loading for markers according to map viewport
- Ajax loading for infowindows on marker click
- Integration of Jomsocial located users from their address profile field

- Profile custom field dynaminc filter
- Display marker as generic user marker or user avatar or profiletype related marker
- Integration of Jomsocial Photo Albums
