Hi,
according to the hosting you have access to the cpanel as well.
If your IP address has been changed - we can update the current one.
You can install the 3rd party you need - we must solve it (we did 2 events last week with hundreds og participants and they look for the site and registration ..).
thank you in advance,
Udi
here is my new IP 36.72.19.65
Hi Udi,
Everything seems fine, i think you should wait the latest package from us on next release, for time being I suggest you change the password from Joomla User manager.
thank you
Hi Dimas,
Thank you for your reply.
Something is missig .. I hope you may clarify it.
If the problem is replicated and you suggest to handle password change via J User mgr., it means IMHO that the Self-Support is not working ..
So users who want to change password, cannot do it and leave the site ...
Isn't it?
Please advise.

Hi, Guys.
Result of password reset is:
i.imgur.com/ixcl0lJ.png
But this page is Joomla! native page (frontend). It has nothing to do with JomSocial. JomSocial uses Joomla! native password or username reset pages from com_user. So this is rather joomla! issue (in this particular case).
CRISIS !!!!!
Michal,
I don't know if it is a result of something done but my site IS GOING CRAZY !!!
Language is displayed by symbols,
Warnings of JUMI all over.
Please advise !!
Regarding the issue itself - JS does not get the input from screen !!!!
Fields are not changed - not seem like Joomla because JS overrides Joomla.
Isn't it?
regards,
Udi
HI, Udi.
That was just error reporting enabled. I disabled it now.
With all the respect but JomSocial DOESN'T override anything in Joomla!. First page of registration comes straight from Joomla!. User creation can be done ONLY by Joomla! Also any password restoration or user name change - all is controlled by Joomla! itself:

You see com_users in URL? You may replicate that by disabling Joomla! SEF.
All what is related with passwords, username is controlled by Joomla!
Influence on your issue may have caching script that you use on site - and it's not Joomla! native caching.
Hi, Udi.
I'm sorry to say that but your site will need a overhaul.
You use some caching extension, your site doesn't respond to template change even if cache is cleared.
User password restore is controlled by Joomla! and it doesn't work - thus it's another core related issue.
You'll need help of professional developer as all those issues are beyond scope of our support.
Hi Michal,
Thank you for disabled the reporting ... it returned to normal.
Site runs with Cashing off; if there is any delay issue with change updating,
it reflects admin changes, not users.
So that's not a reason to make changes after we changed everything include the templates ..
Now regarding the main issue:
Jomsocial overrides joomla com-user !!!!
1. the redirect plugin -
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/JomSocialRedirect
2. I implemented your recomandation -
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Replaci...With_Hello_Me_Module
3. Most important - changing user password from JS admin does not make any change at joomla user admin.
Please provide a solution.
regards,
Udi

Hi Dimas & Michal,
Maybe I found the bug you have.
Just to make it clear - user cannot change password from Profile if he cannot pass the login ... it means that we lose users because of that.
Month ago I changed the default joomla login to HelloMe login, using your instructions -
overriding
Today I returned to the Joomla default -
joomla_login
.
Now you can ask for new password and the system handles it right.
So it seems that HelloMe has some problem with it - could you please check it?
We need your HelloMe because the Facebook connect is used by many users.
Please advise.

Udi
