JomSocial Expired

Hello,
Is there any way i can let the video be played on the newsfeed instead of on a popup?
Like in Facebook, where i can play by clicking on the thumbnails, is there any way?
Also, when will you guys be adding option for post sharing(as in Facebook)...

Thanks

Hi, Jackson.

It is designed to work that way... for many users popup is more comfortable.
But if you have other opinion, please share it with us: uservoice.jomsocial.com/forums/101561-feature-request

Sharing options for post will be add in JomSocial 3.2.
You can test it here: www.jomsocial.com/community

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, jackson.

I can't provide you with hacks in the code as it is major change...

But you can control video thump on activity stream by editing this two classes:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/css/style.css

#community-wrap .cStream-Video .video-avatar {
    max-width: 130px;
}

ROOT/components/com_community/assets/modules/module.css
.cStream-Video .video-avatar {
    max-width: 130px;
}

Read how to override styles in template: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Customizing_Template

Hi, jackson.

It's because your thumbnails are resized down.
I'm not sure why it's happening but it could be connected with 3rd party extensions as there are no resized settings in JomSocial (it doesn't happens on my installation).

Please review your site for resizing plugins.
