Using tags with Activity Stream

Hi,

I would like to know by default or thru a 3rd party component, is it possible to associate Activity Stream postings with predefined tags so that members would be able to filter the postings they would like to read.

Here is an example, consider a series of predefined tags (or member may add tags as well) based on movie types such as comedy, horror, love story, action,... When the member wants to post a message about movies then s/he specifically associates the post to movie type so users may choose the movie type they want to read about.

This is basically following along the way of typical tags used in Joomla.

If you don't want to wait, you could hire a developer to customize your installation: www.jomsocial.com/jomsocial-developers

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
