ISSUE SUMMARY:
If I create/edit an event, the formatting (some words in bold or new paragraphs etc,) of the text in the description is not shown in front-end.

Please log on to our development site and test it by yourself. You can edit an existing event and make a word bold or you can create a new event.

the coding was already changed, maybe it was delivered in the last update.
I activated the "Allow HTML Codes" option but it is still not working.

I change the formatting of the description in an event and click on save. Leave the event, check it in display mode and formatting is lost. After that I enter the event again in Edit mode and the formatting is also gone in the editor.

just add a "_dev" at the end of the username and you can access the folder for the dev site

Did you use the FTP password or the joomla admin passwort? It seems you entered a 14 digit password which is the one from the joomla admin account. the FTP password is shorter.
