Another question (sorry my mind is on turbo at the mo) , is there a facility to allow virtual 'gifts'. For instance if you have a gaming site, you may want to 'give' a friend a virtual 'controller' or a beer/flower for some help they gave etc. That would be cool

So, my question, when is Jomsocial 4 actually out ? I have read the blogs, and if buying want to not mess about with the old one before the new one is out, rather just go in with the new !

great stuff, bouncing about anxious to play, quite enjoying this so far, its been quite a few years since I last used Jomsocial, seems a lot has changed, for the good, and for the better !

so, will jomsocial finally have image and video moderation? its far to dangerous not to have in core.

It's not in the roadmap, perhaps suggest it on the uservoice. It would be an excellent feature, until recently a 3rd party component by "acoolsip" did this perfectly, but it appears he no longer has the time to update it and it doesn't work fully with Jomsocial 3.2.x

ahh that's a shame, never mind for now then hopefully someone will have a solution to it, Im quite surprised people haven't wanted to moderate images before though.

I used to do it, but as my community grew the workload became too much and it limited user engagement with such a delay on images being approved. You can easily review all of the photos uploaded in the Jomsocial backend and unpublish any that are inappropriate though, that mixed with the improved report features can work well

cool stuff, its a good compromise for sure Maybe a freelancer can be paid to write a module for me when I need it
