In what version of JS did photos and videos posted as regular status updates stop automatically also showing in the gallery?

I just posted a photo to my stream here as a REGULAR STATUS UPDATE (not as a photo update) and the photo does not appear in the 'photos' section of the main site, not even in "my photos". Moni As a status update (where is says "say what's on your mind", you simply post a link to the photo and it appears in your stream, but nowhere in the site photos section, not even in "my photos". *I am NOT referring only to photos that are actually uploaded to the site.

Moni That makes sense, but why does that logic apply when using the video icon from the wall to post a video link, but not when using the Add Video button from the video gallery area to post a link?
