I have added a SSL certificate to my site and direct my site to ssl only (https:) here is the ssl site link
www.myracin.com/
and I'm using the latest Socialze template.
Thank you,
Patrick
Hi, Patrick.
But what is your issue?
Could you describe it? Maybe add some printscreens?
Here is three screen pics. The first is how it looks without the SSL and second is with SSL, the third is when you logged into the site . It changes the layout.
myracin.com/
and a link to with SSL
myracin.com/
With SSL enabled it drops the text and "Join Us Now" below picture and when you log in it drops members and pictures into a straight row.
Thank you,
Patrick
Hi, Patrick.
Your browser blocks css files due to detected https.
When you're on https all links that has http are blocked by browser:
myracin.com/components/com_community/tem...efault/css/style.css
This file contains styles for JomSocial but it's blocked by browser when in https.
Notice a small lock on the beginning of URL addres in browser url field. You can click on it and allow to load blocked files.
In our code we're using JURI::root ->
docs.joomla.org/JURI/root
So it displays absolute path to your root... so with http... it live site url is not declared in configuration.php.
You may try to declare live site url in configuration.php.
I also ask our developers if we can fix it on our end...
I did log in to my server and changed the configuration.php. from "http" to the "https" and force SSL in Joomla Global Configuration. Everything seems to working correct now. It was on my end and thank you helping fix this!
Thank you,
Patrick
Hi, Patrick.
I'm happy that you managed to solve this. But this brings my attention and I noticed that we should use JURI::root(true) rather than JURI::root().
So I reported it to our developers.
Your settings will work, don't worry... this is just for future references ;)
