Can you please help us with the following:

1. How to adjust JomSocial template code so that the “most active groups” is the default view when you click on the Groups Tab.
2. How to adjust JomSocial template code so that when you click on an event the “Event Details” is the default view.
3. How to adjust the template so the default avatar is female.

This support department is only dedicated for "socialize template" (JomSocial own template) issue you can create another post with other department.
Though I am not seeing the socialize template installed at your site but also
Jomsocial component's view can be overridable at your current template.
