I have installed the Socialize template into a new instance of Joomla. When viewing in Internet Explorer - after logging in - the search bar in the toolbar is not displayed as in other browsers (Firefox, Chrome)

Hi, I noticed the same thing hope there will be a fix for this...

I can get the search bar to line up, by removing the following from modules\mod_community_toolbar\tmpl\default.php:

.js-toolbar .toolbar-search {
margin-left:24px !important;
}

Which version of IE are you using?

I have checked with IE10 on Windows 7 and IE11 on Windows 8.1

Could you try to upgrade your IE browser to 11 version? I just checked on my IE browser and everything seems to look just fine.

I test ie9 because it's still dominant in our statistics!!

Hm..Everything is looking just fine on my IE 9 browser. I'll ask other support members to replicate this issue.
