Location lookup in member profile not working

Short version - I have the google maps API set up and other apps can use it, but in the jomsocial profile editor when you try and start entering the address it just times out and doesn't look it up. Any ideas?
-- edit --
I spoke too soon - maps still are not resolving. I looked in the javascript console and see several errors. Take a look:

It seems that google is not seeing a API key in the map request. And there are two missing files also.

Please help!

HI, Marisa.

Thank you for contacting us.
Those missing files, please, check if they are present in your installation. If not, copy them manually from installation package.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

They are not on my system. Where do I find them in the jomsocial zip file? And is this why the map lookup isn't working?

Any status on this?

HI, Marisa.

If they are not present then you need to download latest version of JomSocial from here: www.jomsocial.com/component/digistore/licenses?Itemid=209
Unzip it and:

- or reinstall JomSocial
- or copy files manually

As for map that doesn't work: Map API key is missing, please, read this: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Setting...Location_integration

This is not my first JomSocial site - I have it set up the same as my other sites but this is the only one with the location field issue, as far as I know. I tried using the map API key I use in the other sites and also created one for this site but it still doesn't work.

I will try reinstalling the JomSocial extension and see if that fixes it and let you know...

Ok, I installed over it and tested, and uninstalled it and reinstalled it and the location field is still not working properly. You could try out my server and see what I am seeing...

HI, Maris.

You need a unique API key for each site.
Error console shows clearly that key is missing.

Please:

1. Edit your first post.
2. Click switch below main text field: prntscr.com/fk3hdg
3. Provide your site details: backend URL, admin credentials and FTP: prntscr.com/fk3hwz
4. Let us know that you provided credentials by posting in the same thread.
