Hi I am trying to assign a module to the Search results page ONLY, so I created a menu item 'community/Advanced Search' type.
When I go to the search page I can see the module there all fine as expected but when I search and it brings up the results the module is gone.

Could you please try at you end assigning a module to the search page only perform a search and advise?

Thanks

Hi,

it can't, this because joomla technical issue.
the module assigning only respected main menu item ID, in this case "community"

Hi Albertus, that is not great but at least I came up with a work around.

I created module positions specific to the community search view. In my template I check if the option is community and the view is search. If so I then show the modules. That way I assign the modules to all pages but it will only show if the check matches view and option.

Will be great to see that fixed in the future though.

Cheers
