Hi I am trying to create an override for the module Members Search, I am able to create the override for the template default.php however that is not helpfull as it is just rendering the layouts found in modules/mod_community_memberssearch/layout
Ho can I create an override for that? It doesn't seem to follow Joomlas standard layout override.

If you could clarify will be great.
Thanks.

Also Dimas,
I think I found another problem with that module.

When I search through it and it redirects me to the results page it doesn't seem to keep the search options I used.
It goes to the advanced search results page which has the advanced search form. In that form I can see the country I selected and city for example.
However the module reverts back to the initial state. Just makes confusing for the user.

I guess the search form from the component saves the search to the next page but the search via module does not. Could you provide a fix for this?
Thanks

Hi Sarah,

Your set the search module configuration set to adv. search right? because when you submit it will be redirect to adv. search page, but if you set the search module to simple search it will be redirected to simple search page as well

thank you

Hi Dimas,
That is correct, I have it set as advanced search because I want to be able to search by country, city, etc.
If I set it to 'search' it won't display the country field.
The problem is that the module is not keeping the search options I search for.
I don't understand what you proposed solution is. Could you please clarify?

Thanks
