We have a certain number of email notifications ticked in the back end but emails for friends requests, event invites or group announcements are not working for us. Email notifications for private messages and group invites seem to be the only ones working.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.

Please you check Jomsocial configuration->privacy->"Default User Email & Notifications", most of email notifs are unchecked, you should check them all, and the reset the existing user's setting.
We have just tried this on our test site and is still not working. I ticked all the notification and email boxes and pressed the reset button. I tried friend request, event invite and group invite, and as before only the group invite email worked.
