I want to change the date format for the site to d-m-Y . I want to use this format in every page like profile, events,advanced search by birthdate, etc.

I am using latest version of Jomsoical 4.0.8

Can anyone please suggest me the way to do so?

- for bithdate: jomsocial backend > profiles > customize profile > birthdate
- for events date joomla backend > extensions > language manger > overrides > new
search for this constants:

COM_COMMUNITY_EVENTS_TIME_FORMAT_24HR
COM_COMMUNITY_EVENTS_TIME_FORMAT_12HR

I changed the profile birthdate format and it works :)

But for events it is not working. I added the keys in the backend but search for constant is not saving. It always saves to value only.
Don't know why :(

I click on the "create event" button and I still see the old format only.
Also, I want to change date format in advanced search by birthdate field as well.

Kindly, guide me for the events and advanced search option.

It is unsatisfactory
such an easy thing as an calendar...
normaly user must have an option to select calendar format ! ( Y-m-d or d-m-Y )
What when an site has user from Europe and USA !?

Also we told these problem month ago ! No solution .. no fix .. no update ...

the form at event and advance not easy like that expected. we need to changing other code at core files.
