After completing steps for resolution in topic www.jomsocial.com/forum/photos-videos/23...ble-to-upload-photos

I now how a new problem in that when a user logs out, the set page is Front Page but now displays a user message "You do not have permission to view this resource. Please contact the Site Administrator." also the Home button on the jomsocial menu bar defaults to the profile page not to site main homepage which would be desirable.

Hi, Dan.

Thanks for opening new thread. My weekend support is about to end so I'll answer you tomorrow (in next 8 hours) ;)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Dan.

To set home icon on start page, copy this file:

ROOt/components/com_community/templates/default/toolbar.index.php

to:

ROOT/templates/your-template/html/com_community (if you don't have "html" or "com_community" folders, feel free to create them)

Replace this (line 29);

<li <?php echo $active == 0 ? ' class="active"' :'';?> ><a href="<?php echo CRoute::_( 'index.php?option=com_community&view=frontpage' );?>">
        		<i class="joms-icon-home"></i></a>
					</li>

to:
<li <?php echo $active == 0 ? ' class="active"' :'';?> ><a href=".">
        		<i class="joms-icon-home"></i></a>
					</li>

I can't replicate your second issue. When I log out, I'm redirected to community frontpage without any notice...

Thank you for the reply I'll try that out later and let you know how I get on.

As for the You do not have permission to view this resource error, I solved this whilst creating new menu items... resolved itself / I don't know what I did that changed it in all honesty.
