Hi

What is the correct behaviour of the "ignore user" option

From testing it hides new activity stream items but not comments made on activity stream items - is this correct behaviour?

Users seem to expect that choosing to "ignore" a user will hide all comments too

Hi, Alan.

Yes, It hides only items on activity stream. It's because JomSocial consists form few different libraries that handles comments on walls (olders) and activities on stream (newer). Ignore user is feature introduced in one of the latest version so doesn't handle old libraries.

This should be improved in JomSocial 4.0.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Thank you for clarifying, I couldn't find anything in the documentation wiki

Would be very useful to have this also apply to the walls library
