JomSocial Expired

Hi
I administer a website which uses Jomsocial and has y registered users. This website of mine is getting revamped and I would like my new website which again uses Jomsocial for social connect to have the same user base as the previous instance.

So basically i need to transfer the user database from one jomsocial to another (both Jomsocials administered by me) instead of manually adding the users in the new one.

I am providing login details for the new instance.

Thanks.

Hi, Mamta.

We'll not export/import users for you.

I could suggest you solutions:

1. Free: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/migrati...import-a-export/5430 - this extension will import/export only Joomla! user data so all other informations (that are related with JomSocial will be lost and user will need to enter it again).

2. Paid: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extensi...ial-extensions/16405 - this extension exports/imports all JomSocial user data (but you'll need to recreate profile fields to match proper data).

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Mamta.

Enter domain name where you use, or will use, their extension.

Hi Michal
I have purchased the import Export Extension , but i am unable to export the userbase from my old instance to the new one because of the heaviness of the .CSV file.
It says Server Connection Timeout.
However there is something called as "Export to CSV" inside Jomsocial--> Users
so i have a .CSV (without using the extension) but now when i import it to my new instance it says "selector not matched" (screenshot attached)

please suggest the seperator
