I've realised I've posted in the community thread rather than here so I have copied it here.

I asked this question on the guidance thread about this issue about notifications which can be found here

I have done the things in that thread but still haveing notifications open in a new window .....

Basically, I'm looking for any ideas as to why this isn't working for me?

I have changed both files mentioned as directed but when viewing the page www.xxxxxxxxx.com/community/profile/notifications all the links still open in a new window? Any ideas please?

I am using 2.6.2 and J2.5.11

Hi Joe.

To be honest there's not much we can do to help you, since this modifications is for very outdated version which is no longer supported, maybe you should consider hiring some professional php developer for this task?
