On my general site I want to create a list of speakers, for example,
Tom Smith
Bill Smith
i will also add these speakers as members within jomsocial.
i would like to create a link next to the speaker name, for example, Tom Smith (more info) that will link to the member profile
However, i would like only logged in members to see the member profile. i.e. if i'm not a member i can look at the speaker on the general site but if i click on the more info link it will prompt me to login before i see the profile.
hope you can help?
Alan
I'm very sorry but this's not possible out of the box and it will require php code modifications which are beyond our support scope. So maybe you could consider hiring a professional php develope for this task, check our developers page here for list of recomended freelance developers >
www.jomsocial.com/jomsocial-developers
You can also propose that idea to our uservoice page here > uservoice.jomsocial.com and if this feature will be popular within our customers, then maybe our devs will consider it as future improvment.
Thank you
Just to confirm:
A user can register and the member profile is created.
As administrator i could create a custom profile using multipleprofile for the same user but hide various fields?
