Hello Roberto

You can define the default profile in ROOT/components/com_community/defines.community.php at line 230

define('COMMUNITY_DEFAULT_PROFILE', 0);
where 0 is the ID of profiletype that will be default one.
You can see the ID of profiletypes at the list of profiletypes in backend

- Don't say feature not working. Instead, explain what you tried and what was the outcome.
- When you think you found the bug, try to replicate it on a fresh Joomla.
- When looking for support always provide temporary Super Administrative access to your site. We will ask for it anyway.
- Help yourself and read documentation which can give you answers to almost all questions you may have

Hi Sinisa,

As always, thank you for the support. This answered my question perfectly as well, but I do have a quick question regarding the profile ID in the new JS3.1 interface however. Please see screenie below:

I don't see the actual ID of the profiles in the table. I thought it might be the first column (marked #), but in changing the order of the profiles, this number changes, so was confused, as an ID normally won't ever change.

Can you let us know where to find the ID of the profile in the new interface?

Thanks!

Todd

Hi Todd

You can see it by either going in to the database, or opening any of the profile type.
When you open the profiletype, take a look at the address bar, it should look something like this

www.yoursite.com/administrator/index.php...ile&layout=edit&id=5

id=5 at the end is actuall ID of the profile type
