Hi Chris. As stated in this topic initially, I am waiting for you (your developers) to tell me how/where in the files to fix the issue. So the answer is "no", the issue is not fixed, as I am still waiting for this.

Could you try to replaxe your components/com_community/helpers/validate.php file with the file from 3.1 version? and see if this gonna help? Also please remember to make an copy of the original file.
