Hi,
I seriously need help. I have done clean installs several times and facing few issues.
If you could PLEASE help before the holidays I would greatly appreciate it.
1- tool bar when placed in topnav its spaced out. I reinstalled T3 as I thought that was the issue.
2-I can't get Guru for the life of me to work.
3-I don't have user registration buttons.
Thank you
Happy Holidays.
Thank you
HI, Dani.
Thank you for contacting us.
1. What do you mean by "spaced out"? I visited your site and it looks fine, just like it should. Could you elaborate what's the issue here?
Maybe you're comparing it to discontinued "JomSocial Toolbar for Socialize Template" visible in our demo?
Yes, they look different as they are different module - thus design is different.
But you may always style it with CSS to have exact look.
2. Please, elaborate what is the issue here. The same you reported before?
I just created link to Guru categories and this work as it should:
punditin.com/guru-courses/gurupcategs/view
If you refer to issue with Teacher login - this is not a Teacher login page but link to Teacher dashboard. So correct is a notice: This page is only available to teachers. as this page is for Teachers only.
There is no such a thing as separated login. Only dashboards are separated and access to them have accordingly: Teacher - to Teacher dashboard, Student - to Student dashboard.
You may have separated registration forms - but not logins. Teachers MUST be promoted or accepted by admin, while any user can register as Student.
3. That is correct as user registration is disabled by default in Joomla! You need to enable it in Backend -> Users -> Manage users -> Options (button upper right):
prntscr.com/hqshnk
Just set Allow User Registration to YES and button will appear :)
Thanks Michal for the reply :)
1- could you tell me how to change the look of the toolbar so it looks like the one before. Too far spaced out for me.
2- As for Guru I'm trying to set it up like here
joomla35.ijoomlademo.com/guru/
I also have 2 modules for guru I don't know which position to put.
3- Thank you for showing me where the registration link is. :)
Thanks again.
Hi, Dani.
1. This set of code will make JS Toolbar very close to previous toolbar layout:
* {
outline: medium none !important;
}
#t3-community-toolbar .joms-module--toolbar {
max-width: 1170px;
margin: 0 auto;
}
#t3-community-toolbar .joms-subnav--desktop, #t3-community-toolbar .joms-toolbar--desktop, #t3-community-toolbar .joms-toolbar--mobile {
background: transparent;
}
#t3-community-toolbar .joms-toolbar--desktop .joms-icon, #t3-community-toolbar .joms-toolbar--mobile .joms-icon {
fill: #fff;
}
#t3-community-toolbar .joms-module--toolbar .joms-text--normal a:hover, #t3-community-toolbar .joms-module--toolbar .joms-text--normal a:focus {
color: #ccc;
}
#t3-community-toolbar .joms-module--toolbar a {
color: #fff;
}
#t3-community-toolbar .joms-toolbar--desktop > ul > li:hover {
background: #38538E;
}
#t3-community-toolbar .joms-module--toolbar .joms-dropdown {
background: #38538E;
}
#t3-community-toolbar .joms-module--toolbar .joms-dropdown > li:hover {
background: #4060a5;
}
