Hi,
1. User added his photo to someone else's album.
2. Оpened his photo.
3. Wants to add a description, but there is no field "edit description".
There is field "edit description" only in his own album.

Hi, Kristina.

Than k you for contacting us.
Users can add photos only in own albums or albums created and shared in the groups.
There is no option to add photo into album owned by other user.

Could you provide me a bit more details so I could see that on your site?

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Kristina.

I just tested that on my site and it works fine - edit description field is available.
Please:

1. Edit your first post.
2. Click switch below main text field: prntscr.com/fk3hdg
3. Provide your site details: backend URL, admin credentials and FTP: prntscr.com/fk3hwz
4. Let us know that you provided credentials by posting in the same thread.

So I could check that on your site.

Ok,
It works if in Access Control "Edit Photos - allowed" for this user's group. In this case, these users can edit the description of photos of all members of the group, not only their own (screenshot). So it should be?

Is this correct that all users can edit description of photos of other members?

Hi, Kristina.

Oh, I spoke to soon... my test user was Administrator, that's why I was able to edit photo description in groups.
This ACL will allow every user to edit any description... so no, you're right. Please, set this option to "Inherit".
I'll report this issue as bug to our developers.

HI, Kristina.

Please, make safe copy of those files:

ROOT/components/com_community/controllers/photos.php
ROOT/components/com_community/tables/photo.php

Then replace originals by uploading content of the package into Joomla! root folder (where configuration.php is)
