Hello,
sometimes we receive messages for help from our members who are trying to change and save their profile page but unknown error popsup. The last one today is

"For some reason, when I want to save the changes to my profile, I get a notification saying there is an error, but it does not say what is the error... I tried 3 times, maybe it's me? Maybe it's your system? In any case it would be nice for the system to point out the error... "

Do you have a clue what is the problem and solution?
Thanks

HI, Nick.

Thank you for contacting us.
The problem is that it happens "sometimes". It doesn't happen to every user and do not happen each time.
Errors such like that one extremely hard to fix as they can't be replicated.
Not be able to replicate it it's not be able to fix it... or at least find the cause.
It could be happen by browser, by connection lag, server issues, viruses... many things can cause it.
We need to have a bit specific informations so we could replicate this.
For time being, please, watch your community carefully. Ask users for details and try to replicate this issue using their account.
If you find something we could stick on - we'll jump in and will investigate.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
