Hi,
in a Group one can Invite Friends by selecting from a list and click Send Invitation. The invitation is sent but the list of friends doesn't get updated to change the friend as Invited.

In my live site "sosailize.net" one member from his new group, sent 10 invitations and his friends were marked as Invited.
Then he selected 10 more and sent invitations, invitations got delivered but the list of friends was not marked as "Invited".
The live site has jomsociaI 4.3.3.
I used my test site "test.sosailize.net" that has version 4.4.5 and the problem is still there.
In a Group click Invite Friends: Select Friends, Send Invitation, Email Sent and delivered, but friends list not marked as Invited.

Steps to solve it?

In my test site all members have my email address so you can send invitations to anybody and i will receive the email message.

The site i do the tests test.sosailize.net had 4.4.5 and updated to latest 4.5
Unfortunately same issue in latest version also.

I can see from your attachment that member 'panos' is marked as 'invited'.
But
1) the day you did the tests i received invitations for 2 members, the invitation for "panos"

and also an invitation you did for member 'Thanos Paz' .

Why member 'ThanosPaz' is not marked as 'invited' at your attachment?

2) i can still see 'panos' and 'Thanos Paz' not marked as 'invited'

Why all these? Any ideas? Solutions?

I think the ajax to store database is still processing, and the page is move to another page, the store database process be cancelled. I suggest you wait a bit after click send. But well, I will mark this as bug, to add gif loader to see the processing.

Of course you understand it is not good to ask the members of our site to "wait a bit after click send, before going to another page". A gif loader is a good but partial solution.
I think a parallel solution would be to make faster ajax calls.
1) Do you plan to make jomsocial ajax calls faster?

Anyway, did you wait and you show the problem solved? Because i click send and wait and wait until the "invite friends" window goes off. And then when i click again "invite friends" there are still no "invited" friends...
2) Is it working for you though?
3) By the way, there is no system message coming up for "invitation sent successfully", could this be a bug too?

And ajax speed doesn't explain my previous message 2 questions.
4) Are there any answers to previous message 2 questions?
