Hi,

When selecting the message or notification menu the message page displays with an odd formatting. I have tried selecting a different template from the backend. Only the 3rd party template, Shadow appears correctly. I've tried reassigning the default template from the menu items – a number of innocuous things, but nothing helps. I also followed Goran's css code to correct the problem but, that hasn't helped either. Please help. Shouldn't the default template at least show correctly? I've attached a screen shot to give a better idea of the situation.

Hello D. Flat and Column themes are updated to 1.0.1
and chat section is fixed
www.jomsocial.com/forum/templates-themes...e-chat-secton#178192
(check last post)

D. do this:
Change to theme other than default one
then go to Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Theme Designer -> Colors and click SAVE button.
Clear cache from joomla and brownser
Then go and make default theme jomsocial one and after that Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Theme Designer -> Colors and click SAVE button.
and clean cache from joomla and brownser.
If nothing helps from this D.
check in Require help from Admin/Mod? button if you already didnt do that (under every post you will see it)

What the what!?
How did that happen? That series of steps seems to have worked. But, it just doesn't seem reasonable!
I am currently using the default Jomsocial template and the chat area looks fine now. So, thank you for figuring that bit of magic out.

Cheers,
D. Ashley

Believe me D. it was weird to me also but it seems that clicking on Save button in Theme manager forces JS to reload css properly.
Glad to be able to help, but this was what Michal told me to do, so he is the real wizard. :)
