Same issue here.
I'm thinking one of the messages has some weird characters that the system doesn't understand. I'm not sure how I would even begin to locate that message or even edit it =(

- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
But now Theres is Progress:-) After update to 4.4.2 JSON error gone! That's fine. But there is timout on server when sending bigger amount og messages. Tried 3 times with around 80-100 mail Queue.= Server timeout. Php memory is 1024kb
So still need some optimizing?
This seems to be server related issue.
Please, contact with your hosting support... it may be that you're server will need some more resources.
