Good afternoon, I am a customer of you in various products. I have updated several times some of them, such as JomSocial, guru, adagency, iseo, publisher ... I'm in a process of migration of the Web, and the new hosting have problems to properly send emails, including the records of new users who access the web through Jomsocial have spoken with officials of Hosting and tell me they need to know which files are responsible for this service, besides trying to configure cron through cpanel trying to cancel the service he had with cronless, but can not get it to work properly. I hope you can help me. Thank you very much.
Thank you for contacting us.
It seems that currently you don't hold any valid subscription for our product.
Thus we could support you in a very limited way.
Only users with valid subscription could get full support.
I'm not sure if I understood your issue well. You mean your current hosting can't fire cron job using curl or wget. do It needs a file to run?
Also you mean that users can't register?
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
I registered on your site successfully, only activation email was not received (yet).
This may indicate issues with Joomla! email configuration as JomSocial uses Joomla! settings to send any emails.
For further investigation and assistance you'll need to renew your subscription as we need to have assess to your site backend and FTP.
