I currently run Kunena 3.0.6 with JomSocial Pro 3.2.1.2.

If I upgrade to JomSocial 4, I would lose all my forum functionality?
It would be a shame, as it's a big part of my community.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you i needed to clarify a few things with our team.

The plugins are included with the latest version of Kunena, they no longer come with Jomsocial. What it includes is shown in the below picture. While Jomsocial is maintaining the plugin we are bound by what Kunena accept regarding functionality as technically it is a plugin from their component.

it does work fine in Joomla 3.4 and Jomsocial 4
