Hi all,

I have a problem with the public of my medias.

Members and guest are not allowed to open my medias. I dont understand why because all other profiles/ account are open except mine? maybe because I am superuser ?

I had a look to the rights but it seems all my medias are on Public mode.

whats wrong Doc ?

Hi.

I'm sorry but I can't replicate your issue. I logged in with credentials you provided and I was able to view any photo posted on stream: prntscr.com/83a7fi

Maybe issue apply to different account? If yes, edit your first post and provide me access to it it.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi michal, it is not necessary to connect to an account all the photos and videos of all members (registered and admins) are publics.

So anyone, even vsitors should be able to see medias. That is wright for every one except when people try open the media from my profil (the profile I gave in my first post ans the secret part).

I just uploaded few photos as your user to an album. And they could be viewed by guests.
The photos you uploaded are probably in a group - so guests can't view them.
Please, click on photos I just uploaded.

Hi Michal,

ok I guess you are right, the album I use is from an old version of Jomsocial.. maybe at this period thix album was in a group. I have to create new albums I guess it is better.

this problem is SOLVED for now !
