ISSUE SUMMARY:
I'm having a strange issue with photos uploading sideways and squished (aspect ratio is wrong). It's as if the image processor that compresses and sizes the image is not recognizing the image as a vertically oriented photo, so it's scaling down the photo to the correct width (for a horizontal photo -- not a vertical one), and squishing it vertically (for who knows what reason). Horizontally-oriented photos are uploaded and processed just fine.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Create an album on your profile.
2 Upload a vertically-oriented photo to it.
3 See if it processes it correctly... if so, then the problem just got more complicated.
4 If not, then you have a replicated problem upon which to test.
5 If it did process correctly, try uploading multiple photos in a single batch -- both horizontal and vertially-oriented, and see if it still works. I normally upload batches, so that might be where part of the problem lies.

Also of note... the vertical images do seem to be thumbnailed correctly in the slideshow... it's just the main image that is sideways.

Hi Matt,

Please you set "Rotate Photos Automatically" to No on Photo configuration, Maybe it will help.

You are using old Jomsocial version, I suggest you do upgrade to the latest version.

thank you
