Dimensions of Frontpage Boxed Area

How do you change the dimensions of the boxed area where you can add a cover photo, login, and sign up on frontpage guest? I am trying to put a photo in the cover photo area but when I put it in there it is not big enough so it covers the bottom of the picture.
