Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
Hi, when I try to upload new photos into an album I receive this error: "Invalid album id or you do not own this album".
I followed this topic
www.jomsocial.com/forum/photos-videos/78...o-not-own-this-album
but it doesn't work for me.
Could you please help me? thanks
Giacomo
You're using outdated and unsupported JomSocial version = 3.0.2. Please upgrade to current JomSocial 3.2.0.1 and check if issue still persist.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Thank you for the answer. Could you please explain me how I can do it? I have to access to my downaloads and choose "download"? if yes, after this what I have to do?
thanks a lot
Giacomo
First make a safe copy of your entire web site.
Then download package from here:
www.jomsocial.com/component/digistore/licenses
.
Unpack it and install JomSocial = com_community_pro_3.2.0.1.zip just like any other Joomla! extension via Joomla! installer.

Hi,
I downloaded the file, unzipped it and tried to install it but it doesn't work. It completes the first step "Unpacking backend files" but not the second one "Unpacking frontend files".
Could you try to install it and verify if the issue is still present?
Thanks
Upgrade is done. Your hosting is a bit slow so you should be more patient :)
I encountered no issues during upgrade...
