I now jomsocial do not suport amazon s3 issue, but this is just a Question.

I have a concern about amazon s3 object expiration, as say amazon below:

Note that upon expiration Amazon S3 deletes these objects, no matter whether they are in Amazon S3 or archived to Amazon Glacier. Even if the objects are archived, Amazon S3 will remove archived objects. Amazon S3 will also delete any temporary copy of an archived object you might have restored (see Restoring Archived Objects).

My question are:

1-Those object are all jomsocial user avatar, photos, videos etc?
2- After amazon delete those objects ther will no exist anymore even in the server?
3- i think when the site setup remote storage, all those pictures avatars and videos load slower than the server is that true?

Quick answer from me..
1. once your Amazom S3 expired I think you cant access your data again, i think authentication Jomsocial to Amazon S3 will fail then..but I am not sure.. you need ask this to Amazon directly because not Jomsocial scope anymore..
2. Photos / videos which already uploaded to Amazon S3 will be deleted in your own server, because this feature is to avoid the huge HD memory capacity in your server, so we delete it.
3. This is depend your connection to Amazon S3.

Then if amazon periodically delete data from my bucket, then some user who visite the site after several year can find his account with not photo, no avatar because amazon deleted?
