Hello,
i added a new menu item to the JomSocial toolbar menu. Its a external link and the setting is set to "open as new windows with navigation" but its not working. The new page is loading in the same window.
Is this a limitation of JomSocial toolbar?

To fix this please you download this files www.dropbox.com/s/m68ckattx3q5avx/%231808.zip?dl=0 extract it, and copy the files inside it into your Joomla root folder.

i copied the files into the joomla root folder but the external link opens not in a new window. It opens still in the same folder :(

Please provide me FTP access.. I will help you to apply it..

sorry i dont have ftp enabled on my server. i only have ssh file transfer but this is protected with a certificate and special permissions.

i copied all files in the root folder of joomla. Maybe i have to check if all files are overwritten. Is there anything else to do after copy the files?
